The Get Adulting™ Foundation: Real Help, No Strings Attached!

Get Adulting is more than an app. It's a commitment to supporting neurodivergent adults in a world that wasn't built for us, where everything is just assumed of you and there is little guidance/resources beyond K12 schooling. The Get Adulting Foundation extends that mission beyond the app itself, providing direct support to those who need it most. That has always been my goal since launching, just to help people!  I created Get Adulting because it was the solution I needed, not because I wanted to make money. It was something that worked for my brain that I didn't see out there before. So I made my app accessible in price (just $2.99/year or $14.99 lifetime), I made it ad-free (and it always will be), and I made it 100% offline so tracking and data selling don't exist. I'm fortunate enough to have thousands of users who trust my app with their daily lives, and I want to give back where I can and thus: The Get Adulting Foundation is born! Every dollar comes from app revenue and user donations - no corporate sponsors, no strings attached - just help where it's needed.

The Get Adulting™ Foundation offers four funds:

Diagnosis Fund (up to $1,000) - For adults who need ADHD or autism assessments but can't afford the out-of-pocket costs.

Emergency Fund (up to $500) - For when life hits hard and you need help with rent, bills, or urgent expenses.

Scholarship Fund (up to $2,000) - For neurodivergent adults pursuing college, trade school, certifications, or any education that moves them forward.

Women's Dev Fund (up to $1,000) - neurodivergent women (including trans women and those who identify as women) learning to code. This one is personal, everyone should have access to bring their valuable ideas to life!!

How It Works

Submit an application, minimal requirements. I read every single application myself! No algorithm, no committee, no AI. I'm just looking for people who genuinely need the help and will put it to good use. You don't need a formal diagnosis to apply. I know how inaccessible getting diagnosed can be, and I'm not going to gatekeep support behind the very thing some people are applying for help to get. Applications open on a rolling basis throughout the year, with the next round in October 2026. Everyone who applies gets a response, whether accepted or not.
