This update has been a long time coming, and I’m so excited it’s finally here! I typically like to release updates once or twice a month, but it's been over a month since the Get Adulting app had its last update, so it's time!
Get Adulting 6.0 went live on September 16th, 2025.
What’s New in Get Adulting 6.0

Lists & Notes
This feature lives right under your To-Dos on the Dashboard. It lets you add color-coded lists or notes for anything! Grocery lists, gift ideas, random thoughts—whatever you need. You already use the app for reminders and standard to-dos, so why not add more functionality?
Time-Sensitive Notifications
This one was highly requested! You can now make your reminders time-sensitive. They’ll stay on your Lock Screen until you dismiss them. This works across Daily Tasks, Prescriptions, Pet Reminders, and Dashboard Reminders. Finally, your notifications can work for you!
Spin Wheel
Inspired by a TikTok I saw, the spin wheel can be found next to your To-Do list. When you tap this icon, all of your added to-dos (up to 12 at a time) are added to a spin wheel. You’ll get the chance to let fate decide what task you do next! It’s definitely unnecessary, but I really wanted to include it to add a bit of fun!
Solitaire
Yes, I added a Solitaire game! No ads, no pop-ups—just a little way to take a breather and keep your brain sharp without ever leaving the app. Fun fact: I originally created this as an app for my partner and decided to add it as a feature!
Smaller Things That Still Make a Big Difference
You can now sort your To-Do list by oldest or newest.
My Garage has new car care tips like how to read a tire sidewall and how to pass an emissions test.
I added a Drink section to Recipes, finally!
You can search Recipes and Cooking Basics now.
You can also add custom Adulting Tasks on your own schedule.
Health 101 is now organized into drop-downs and includes new info on skin care, stress, and nutrition.
Also, there’s now a little arrow when you type in your passcode. It’s a lot easier to sign in if you prefer the 4-digit code option!
Why I Created Get Adulting
I created this app because I was overwhelmed by life. I still am, honestly. Every time someone messages me to say the app helped them feel a little more in control or made their day easier, I get emotional. It means so much that something I built to help me is also helping others.
This whole update was made with love and actual user feedback. If something in it helps you even just a tiny bit, then it was 100% worth it.

As always, the Get Adulting app is just $2.99 per year, no ads, and it works offline. And yes, I promise: Android is still coming.
Thank you for reading, and catch you next time!
